Stories from the world of RC car racing

Speed Passion have finally released their version 422 which contains the latest supercharger software for free download by SP GTv2 owners and some other Sp ESC for stock racing.
There is also the non- timing version available to meet the latest ROAR restrictions. I have downloaded the 422 to mine and hope to try it at Sunny Coast this weekend. As usual there is a confusing array of settings to be sorted out to take full advantage of the extra revs and grunt.

There wer half a dozen guys using the SP or the HW version of this 422 software in stock on the weekend. I personally found that it was a sfast as my Tekin but a tad smoother and a little bit more driveable. As much brake as you need and very easy to adjust. It will be very interesting over the next few meets to try some of the adjustments.
Best part is you don’t need a computer to do adjustments they can be done with the little hand held card

I was running the 422 in my SP GT2 Pro and must admit I was not as fast as others and would suggest a lot of this was my driving. I am curious though as to what you ended up with setting and FDR wise
I ended the day the with a FDR of 5.57 and ATMS , DRRS at max with a start of 6000 and delay of .5ms and about 70 Degrees on the 17.5 V3

    Hi Michael
Of course speed around the track depends on much more than ESC and motor combo and settings but this is what I ran yesterday
    Mi4LP
    SP 17.5 V3 motor
    SP 5300 LIPO
    Sp V2GT ESC
    DRRS 8
    AMTS 7
    12-9
    13-1
    14-5
    15-1
FDR 5.48 probably could have gone 5.25 as it was a cool day.
    Hope that helps your experimenting

I would like to know if the supercharger mode works on sensorless motor?

I don’t have a sensorless moor so can’t tet but I don’t believe the SP GT will work with sensorless. The software in some of the Hobby wings might work

Actually I run RS pro and HW but seems it dosen’t works with sensorless and it cannot detect the feedback signal from motor

No, dynamic timing requires a sensor lead
