I note that you have missed the most significant R/C event of all……. 😯
This week marks the launch of the all new, all weather, indoor electric on and off-road raceway in Launceston Tasmania. I know there are flights available……doors open 6pm, racing from 7.
    Photos here sometime after that!
We’re excited to be launching this new venue and club. Track build happens Wednesday night (it will be a simple affair to get us going).

Cant do this year…I have that pesky day time thing called a job (J=just, O=over, B=broke) that I cant get out of this time. Next one though…might even be indoors 😉 and I will run Mod 😯

I’ll settle for Logan Wed night and Sat night (don’t think I’ll make Sunny Coast on Sunday) but never say never.
I’ll be in Tassie for the Titles on 6th and for the indoor SCT meet on 11th March – YES!

    Launceston R/C Raceway is ready…..
We built the track tonight, ended up downsizing slightly from the original plans. We’ll get started on the current layout and expand it as we can over the next few months. We’re still putting together funds for track borders and don’t have enough for the planned layout….but we’ll get there!
The shed is awesome, track is great, guys are pumped. R/C is back in Launnie!

Wednesday night saw more frantic Action at Logan.
In the F1’s the unthinkable happened – a Tamiya F104 won the final (albeit a F104 with a rear end converted to run Jaco tyres ) but a F104 nevertheless. Going well Nat.
There was some interest in the touring cars as well with some new speedies being run and some high speed evident – too fast for some of the old men out tonight.
