The Tamworth club is having a small resurgence and racing is alive and well in Electric touring cars – no Nitro.
Thinking is that they will run the Tamworth Cup this year for Electric only and incorporate the NSW /Qld Interstate challenge with that.
Proposed dates are 29th and 30th May.
Proposed classes Beginners 540, Pro 540, stock, super stock and mod.
Any comments ? Who is likely to go ?

Tamworth are really trying to sus out if the date suits both States – as far as I can tell it seems ok for Qld. Not sure about NSW yet.

Kymberley’s 18th is 24th ?? Party will have to be 22nd ( oh no a meakin night)

From what I heard – the club has been well down and is just getting back on it’s feet – getting about 20 to a club meet now and all electric. They don’t feel they have the ability or capacity to run a Nitro meet as well.

There was no gas last year. Not one entered.
It was an electric only event.
