Ended up a bit of an up and down round but good enough to make the cut for the weekend – in RC speak that he’s in the A final.

Looking at his second round he was on fire the last 4 holes! Birdie Birdie Birdie and Birdie. Nice work.

Actually Robert he played the back nine first so it’s a 5 birdie stretch.

Nice Dave. Off to NZ over Xmas NY and looking forward to having a hit at Peppers Clearwater Resort course over there. Hope he continues his run for round 3 and 4.

After a very difficult day on the course for most, looks like Matty has tied for 11th, a very satisfactory result.
Now to try tomorrow to preQ for the Australian Open next weekend – 3 spots available from 89 players.
Then to fly back and get up to Coolum the folloowing Monday he has to try to Pre Qualify for the PGA – heaps of players trying for a few spots.
