With the 2009 Nats just a couple of weeks away, and a stack of Qlders heading for the event (not to mention the massive Tasmanian contingent) it seems like its about time to start tipping some results.
Here’s my pick for the top three in each class:
- 12th: Timothy Lee, Brad Vercoe, Kyle Hazell
- Stock: Clinton Livingstone, James Ainslie, Andrew Bolton
- Superstock: Luc Botton, Tim Weier, Shane Kelly
- Mod: Simon Nicholson, Ryan Maker, Ari Bakla
- Bike (demo): Scaulfie, Troy Laughlin, Dan Garcia
- Mini (demo): Andy Cooke, Justin Vergunst, Jeff Thompson
And the queenslanders? I’m loathe to make promises on our behalf, but I reckon there are some very good A final prospects in Modified, and some very real Championship winning chances in Stock and Superstock. If any of the mod guys get up for a win it will be a bit of a surprise, but Anthony would have to be considered an outside chance.
Me? If the whole world goes my way and everything for me runs perfectly it’s possible that I might sneak into the back of the A final. More likely a B final, but I’ll give it everything I have and then we’ll see what happens.
Your tips?
