Looks to me that after 4 rounds of qualifying with 2 rounds to go before it becomes crystal clear under the drop 3 format – the leaders by class would be
540 Chris Sturdy
Stock Clinton Livingstone
Mod Jason Dorn
Tomorrows 2 remaining rounds of qualifying will be very interestingLikeLike

i have heard that rounds 1 & 2 aren’t counting due to timing issues for mod class only so for those guys it will be best 2 of 4 (last two rounds today, plus 2 more tommorrow) to set qualifying.

In 540 Chris Sturdy won but not before a slight upset in the second final where he cam second to Gerard. But righted the ship in the 3rd final to take the Title Interestingly Gary took it out in 2008 also in a Schumacher so that’s Sturdy 2008 and Sturdy 2009. The way the rules are at the moment we won’t see them in 540 again at a Qld Title event.
Clinton continued his dominant performance in Stock to take the Title from Adrian and Shev.
Jason Dorn showed that driving a fast car, be it Nitro or EP is something he is no stranger too – again a dominant performance to take the title from Leonard and Tim.

lol you guys and all your brand battles,
every car has the ability to win just gotta use it to that ability.
Had great fun racing over the last few weeks, might have convinced me to buy 1 and race more often.

Come mod Chris it’s the best. You can always drop your throttle EPA down until your confidence increases, kinda like traning wheels 😆

stock and 540 are very similar driving styles… Mod is totally diffrent
you will have to change ur driving so much when going to mod…. may aswell start early…… then go back and stock will be a breeze to drive
i found when i started 8th scale i was terrible but i drove it more and more and came good and i went back to the pro tourer class and broke all my PB’s just from the better experience.LikeLike

Sounds like ur a little Green Eyed…. Like when Lenny, Scotty, and myself tarred u up on the track many times over, it didn’t sit well… Anyway I’d love to stay and chat but I’m a little busy getting my train ticket… U know, on the bullet train I’ll be travelling on from Tokyo to Suzuka to see the Japanese Formula 1 this weekend. wahahaha 😆 😆 I’ll send u some photo’s along with that video of our race at Bayside. I’m sure u would have misplaced it by now, haha.
