Stories from the world of RC car racing

Got some new parts from Schumacher this week.
Shorter front and rear arms in standard and medium flex. This is what Schumacher are saying about these arms.
“The new wishbones are shorter and stiffer than the current kit items. These features enable the car to have more corner speed and traction under almost all track conditions. Resulting in lower lap times!!!
(Overall car width should be kept the same by increasing washers at the pivot block by 1mm)”
I have a few standard and medium of these shorter arms in stock.
Also a few more LIPO locators for those who haven’t got one yet – been selling a few of these to non-schumacher drivers as well they are such a good thing – Heavy’s tip – no need to secure the LIPO too tight. Must not interfere with the chassis flex”
As well this week we have new charger in stock – very similar to the CORE one we used to stock but a much better price. Stig has done some initial testing and it seems to work fine, come with a lot of plugs for a variety of battery types – watch for a pic soon or see me at the track.
Also the Speed Passion GT speedie is back.
And some EDS allen drivers
Coming soon the new Comp 3 Speed Passion motors – not much change to the motor performance as such but a revolutionary way to attach wires and sensor cable. Best prices as usual.

Not sure which arms Barger has, but which arm do the top drivers recommend. e.g. which arms are suited to what style of track for Mod. ❓

Barger has the Graphite ones. This is the speel from Schumacher
“The Graphite parts are the most rigid and will give most precise control of suspension geometry. The Medium Flex wishbones offer a greater degree of flex which will give more traction and offers increased crash protection as it will flex during the impact. ”
Medium flex are standard on the Mi4.

Medium is the same as you have now as far as flex and traction is concerned. Graphite may give you some more positive control but maybe at teh expense of traction.

Hey Tony – Just guessing 😆 but with a 5.5 it will probably be mod ❗
Hey Toby. use the spur that came with the Mi4 and then about a 20 – Tony should be able to tell you he is running a 5.5.

If this is a 5.5 motor in a Schuie, aim for 21/85 or22/89. Sorry Toby I thought you were quoting a drive ratio. 😆 😆
