Here we go again with a new week. More work of course day by day till Saturday arvo, but in the evenings time to think about RC.
Here at Action RC head office we are in full preparation mode for the Northern River Titles in 2 weeks at the Gold Coast. Got to get my car ready and clear the decks for Scott to build his Mi4 once he gets here (Wednesday week) in time to practice on the Friday – he loves the wee small hours.
Back to Bayside this Sunday. Racing from 9am and all the Onroad Ep and GP classes. I’ll be there and will have Chris Sturdy with me as he starts to put down some pracy laps in preparation for the Queenslands. Should be a good day. Brekky and Lunch available.
Also Sunday EP Offroad at Chargers Redbank – nominations from 10 and racing at 11. Hot dogs and drinks.

A few changes to the Cat this week for Ippy. Hopefully all the diff problems are gone, I think I had the circlip in the wrong way. I still can’t tell which side is the flat side. Time will tell on Sunday I guess. Ryan (B44) and I might finally have a head to head battle for more than 1 minute.
Might also get a run with my favourite and proper class – 2wd Mod. One B4 ready to go. If I had a truck, I could probably run that too, geez we’re spoiled for choice at Ippy at the moment.
Last clubbie also before the SEQ Off-road Champs. Are you coming out Sunday arvo Dave, or is the Cat ready?

Cat is ready and new, more suitable tyres glued up – I even have some choices, usually a bad thing.
Unfortunately doubt if I’ll be there this week – although if Bayside goes to schedule you never know.

Bayside track has bumps removed and re-surfaced in the repaired sections. Look forward to Sunday to try this now smooth track.

Damn…… No Stig…..will see him down the coast. Heavy do you have any of the new short arm f & r. Barger used them down the coast last sunday and they look like a worth while option.

Oh by the way everyone – went lawn bowling last night – great fun.
Not about to swap the Mi4 for a Lawn Bowl anytime soon but gee the bowling green would be a great place for a weekend special RC event – somehow don’t think I’d get approval from the committee – no sense of adventure at all 😆 😆LikeLike
