Stories from the world of RC car racing

I’m not for a moment going to pretend to know who said or did what, or play he-said/she-said, but I am going to say this.  From a distance, the carry on over the ORRCA Qld Championships, by people on both sides of the current public debate is appalling.
Whoever is right or wrong at this point is irrelevant. For both sides to proclaim they want the best for R/C in Queensland and then carry on with claim and counter-claim, accusation and the kind of behaviour on display for all the world to see is frankly just a little pathetic.  If I lived in Brisbane I wouldn’t be attending either of the races on the first weekend in October.
I’m saying nothing about my views on the debate except this. Right now, nobody is doing themselves, the club, the state or national association, or the sport any good at all.  It is like our beloved politicians trying to score political points by abusing and accusing each other.  It’s time for everybody to grow up.

Scott, if I were you I’d disable comments on this topic, otherwise the argument will spill over to this site.
