I can’t make Brendale this Friday but I believe there will be significant numbers in the Gas Tourer class.
Saturday night I am planning to be at Logan.

Most of the stock drivers are from Brisbane, with most of those from Ippy. Less competition than an Ippy club day for them, but there’s still a Qld Titles honour up for grabs and that’s all that matters.
Modified has our own “Young Gun” ScottyK, plus Peter Scott, Chris Schoenfisch and myself to help with the entertainment. A few interstaters to add to the mix also.
And of course Heavy’s given me another chance to show the wonders of “The Cat” to the world. Plenty of 4wd Modifieds to compete against.

Well i think one would call that an unsuccessful debut for the mi4…lol
I just want to thank Tony, Bob and Heavy who neglected their own cars and race prep in order to get my car going. I really can’t say thank you enough guys!
I just didn’t get time to put the car on a setup rig before the race so i’ll do that and spend a day at a track and get it dialed in. But much better than the old xray.

All in all a pretty fair nights racing I thought.
1 full heat of 540
2 full heats of stock
1 heat of mod
1 heat of gas.
Looks like we could do with a few more gas guys on a regular basis.
My Serpent S400 was lacking speed for some reason yet to be determined and ended my night early with a broken rear belt – naturally in the best of Serpent (Electric ) tradition – I didn’t have a spare, Had a good night anyway.LikeLike
