Interclub 2 – Sunny Coast – Saturday and Sunday.
For me it’s Gas Tourer on Saturday – I have engaged the services of a top man to pit for me (go Vazzo you little ripper) as it’s all on the line. Trevor beat me on Friday night and claimed the Vets Glo Plug Trophy (that hurt because I’ve held it undefeated since inception ) anyway next Saturday there’s no holds barred, I’ve spent most of Mothers Day working on the car – between naps.
Oh that’s right, there is also an Interclub competition as well.
And before that there is the Meakin Midweek Mania on Wednesday night. The F1 promises to be hot this week – I still haven’t got mine but will be down there to help anyone new to F1 to get a handle on things.

Heavy, can you please bring your Hobbywing Ezyrun 5200kv motor with you on Wednesday night. I hope to put it in the Venom motorcycle to slow it down.
The F1 racing last fortnight looked cool – it had all the hallmarks of a real F1 race except there wasn’t a pile up in the first lap causing carbon fibre to be sprayed around like confetti (Spanish GP). A few applied power too soon and were wheel spinning down the back straight and the occasional one would spin out while negotiating a corner. I so wish I hadn’t sold my Corally F1.LikeLike

Anyone going up to interclub for both days? I’m thinking about throwing my bivi bag down and sleeping at the track. Might need a buddy or two to have a few cold beverages with.

Ill be there for the two days hopefully the roomies will be up for a few bevies. I heard there’s going to be a clash of the top guns in 540 this weekend.

Just been out on the street giving my Gas Tourer a little run after some more work – lightened up the clutch a fair bit to get some more rip and it seems to have worked. Decided to use a bump box for starting this weekend instead of the pull start and that certainly works a lot better.
Pesky day job tomorrow so no praccy for me but I’ll be there early Saturday for a few laps before heat 1.

You’re right Bob – I did get hosed off by the Mugens (well some of them anyway ) but I am not planning to race Nitro seriously anytime soon so don’t really need one. My Mi4 will be here and then it will be back to electric for me. I can put your two cars on my second hand page if you want.
