Stories from the world of RC car racing

The Brisbane Drift scene has taken on a whole new look. Steve sent in these pics of the new double layer track at Darra – looks like a challenge.

Check out the video here of the Darra drift track.  Crazy stuff!

Hey guys, the track is only open for drifting…
It is open for drifting for beginners and ppl that want to have a crack at it every sat night, cost is 10 or 15 bucks i think.
It is a real challenge, but it is well worth a visit.

I might get there with my nephew. Just need to invest in some drift tyres.

My suggestion for drift tyres would be, HPI T-Drifts(Treaded). Although the tread will wear away after 6-10 meets they will provide you with the best entry into drift. They offer a high lvl of control.
I have seen them around for about $20 per pair.
