A new event on the Queensland R/C calendar is the just announced F1 Grand Prix event at Charger’s Toowoomba circuit. The F1 GP will run under the car of our great mate Big Mac on June 14th. Get there if you can.
The event marks the first major for the Darling Downs based Chargers on-road club, and should be a great day out. Classes are for the burgeoning Formula 1, Stock Tourer, and Tamiya Mini.

Guys if you go to our new web page and look threw the gallery you
ll get an idea what our area looks like. Its nothing special but you can race on it f1 foams work very well and touring car rubbers work even in sub 0 deg temps without warmers. 😉LikeLike

With the F1 foams you can use some traction aid I still have a can of TQ mofified that we used to use on the carpet down there and seems to work ok. I have also used paragon and it ok too. As for touring cars we don`t bother with warmers or compond even in sub zero temps rubbers seem to stick pretty well.LikeLike
