Bayside and Chargers will both have night meets this Saturday night 18th April.
Racers this week will notice more fantastic progress at Bayside. This week there will be plenty of light in the pits. Floru have been installed in both pit spaces.

I managed to get a babysitter so Ill be at Bayside kickin Clints bum 😆 Although I think hes still running the championship winning Shui so it could be tough.

At Bayside tonight we used a variation of the track that we had not used before, personally I didn’t mind it but to be fair the majority didn’t like it. At a drivers meeting we decided on a track to run next meet and for the next 6 meets.
It was a pretty good meet with 1 heat of 540, 2 of stock, 1 of mod and 1 each of gas and pro nitro.
I was happy to qualify 3rd for the 15 minute gas A final and after breaking a side belt after 1 minute and being therefore forced to drive without brakes for the rest of it was delighted to finish 3rd as well. The CEN just gets better every meet.

540 TQ vazzo, butt kicked in final by Mitchell Hollis, he actually lapped me so I ended up second with third being taken by Steve Evans.
Stock TQ and won by Clinton Gooch, followed in the distance by Barger and I forgot the other guys name sorry I think it was Peterson??? 1st and 2nd were Shui’s Paul 😆
Mod TQ and won by Anthony, followed by Leonard and John Perkins, good to see the mod numbers up
GAS TQ and won by Wade, 2nd??? and third Heavy (with NO brakes) 😆
PRO TQ and won by John T, little Johhnie was winning until he lost a side belt and flamed out which left it to late for him to catch big john, I think little Johhnie might have come second and third may have been Ash???
It was a good race meet, I dont think well see another Sat night meet for a while or until it heats up again from what I heard.

I have a fuel gun, if I am understanding the process correctly, you just “shoot” the fuel “gun” at the car as it screams full noise down pit lane.

Yea Sparksy – we were talking about you Sat night and wondering where you’ve disapeared too.
Just realised if Tony gets his Nitro going I’ll have to get another pit man as well. Maybe his Mugen will be so fast he can run down from the drivers stand and pit for me and then run back up and resume his race 😆 😆 that’ll give me a chance !LikeLike

That sounds a fair price Tony.
No racing for me this weekend.. Got to get an early night Friday night.
4am start sat morning for Rum and coffee and the dawn service, followed by breakfast and another ANZAC day thing.. Knocked off and on the wallop by 9am.
If I make it to 2pm still standing I’ll be very surprised.
Maybe make some time on Sunday arvo for a spin up to Bayside if anyone is interested.LikeLike
