The Meakin boys have decided to trial some midweek race meets mainly for Mini but we have been invited to share the time with our 1/18th buggies.
The trial will run fortnightly from 18th Feb starting around 5 with racing from about 6 or 6.30 till about 9.
The 1/18th scale buggies will just use the keyhole end of the track and run a composite track, we will make some jumps to take us over the pipes where necessary.
We’ll be having a look at possible track layouts next Tuesday night (10th ) so if you are interested come along. Promises to be fun.
For the moment any 1/18th buggy or truck any motor and we’ll see where we go from there.

We will also have a look see if there is a way we can run 1/18th scale touring cars (stock Associated ) on the top end of the track as well – might be a tad more difficult given we are not allowed to pull up or cut and track piping. But where there’s a will there’s a way.
