Just a quick note to thank all the guys who have been wishing my wife well over the last few weeks – she comes home today after 3 weeks in hospital to begin a 6 week period of recovery. Thanks again.

For those that are interested in my progress as a nurse. I have achieved some things this week.
Learned to change a dressing.
Learned to put compression stockings (on Jen).
Burnt out the electric frypan and bought a new one (not before Jen found out).
Burnt something on to the bottom of one of the good saucepans – so far irretrievable damage but I will persist with soaking and scraping.
