Be careful about buying imitations or lesser quality chargers – we have already seen a couple of LIPO batteries puff up by being overcharged using a charger with an inaccurate voltage cutoff.
The CORE has a balance plug and lead to perfectly suit your Core batteries, no mods required. They still come with all the leads to suit whatever battery plugs you use to charge your batteries.
When buying LIPO batteries and brushless motors make sure you buy ones that are on the ROAR or ORRCA list as that is what you will need to compete in the Qld Titles. Check out the approvals here.
There are some cheaper batteries around with sellers claiming they are on the ROAR list – you owe it to yourself to check it out before you buy. Same with brushless stock motors. Just because a two motors or batteries for example are made by the same manufacturer doesn’t automatically make them approved – one might be the other not. Core batteries and Speed Passion motors ARE approved and on the list.
