Stories from the world of RC car racing

I was supposed to be camping this weekend but that may now not be happening. I could therefore be at Bayside after all.
Keen to start trying some of the adjustments on the Speed Passion ESC and get more run time and gearing knowledge on the 17.5.

Apparently the Gold Coast are having a race meet on Sunday so I’m guessing Bob the Barger will be missing from Bayside.

I’m hoping to drive better than I have on Facebook Ghost Racer for the last few days – talk about hopeless.

That was a pretty good raceday really.
Robert and Tony were the standouts in a small 540 field with their Mission 1 cars. Tony got the TQ and Robert got the A final win – good stuff guys.
In Stock it was all about Martin Nicholls – in qualifying he was the only one to go 20 laps although I was close to it in 2nd tQ
In the final I was able to hang on to Martin for most of teh way and ended up with quite a fast 20 lapper about a second behind with Ben in his Mi3 about 4 seconds further back but also on a 20 lapper.
Next fortnight will be the Interclub at Sunny Coast so no racing at Bayside.
    cheers
