It’s been rare for me to have the opportunity to race at Logan lately, in fact I don’t think I’ve raced there this year at all.
This coming Saturday night should change that – I am planning to be there to race stock.

Now THAT was a fantastic night of racing. I haven’t raced at Logan all this year for one reason or another , but, if they are all like that I will have to try harder to get back there. Found myself strangely nervous in the first couple of races and not at all confident about finding my way around or mixing it with the competition, by the third round I was feeling a bit better and ended up qualifying 4th which I was very happy with. 5th in the final was a satisfactory result although I gave away a couple of places with a silly mistake at about the 4 minute mark – very enjoyable.
Great racing, great food, great feeling in the pits.
Stock is very strong at the moment and a lot of excitement as guys try different 17.5 motors and different ratios etc etc. All good. You get the feeling that at the Interclub it is going to be very tough to make the A final – fantastic. With the Interclub and Tamworth in the next month there is a lot to look forward too.
The more I see of the 17.5 motors the surer I am the ROAR have got the mix about right. Looks like the Novak and the LRP are very close in performance, haven’t seen a Hacker yet or a Losi and really hanging out for the Speed Passion to pass the ROAR tests so we can use them.
