Yes you can run brushless in stock(ROAR 17.5) and mod.
Yes you can run LIPO in Stock.
No you can’t run LIPO in Novice
Only 5 cell only in mod.
This will be a control tyre event and most likely you will get 6 qualifers, probably with best three to count for finals qualifying position. A finals will be over three races as usual – B and C finals will be one race.
Plenty of time to get practice and make sure you are ready for this event, the original and the best, the only true Queensland Electric Titles.

OOPS – my bad. Originally I said LIPO in Novice but had it pointed out to me that there is no LIPO in Novice according to the ORRCA rules.
Apologies if I got your hopes up – if you have LIPO you’ll have to run stock.
    cheers

Don’t forget you will need a LIPO sack if you want to run LIPO and a Bomb shelter if you want to run NIMH .

Dave…Is it going to be hand out tyres or supply your own controlled tyres

I believe it will be competitor supplied tyres – tyre will be announced 2 months before the event. Maximum of three sets to be booked in and used in sets – only one set out at a time – all sets out before finals start.
I haven’t checked with ORRCA but I think Novice might be any rubber tyre but still 3 sets maximum, I’ll get back to you all on that one.
