Yep I’m in there Friday and Saturday as well. Just have to decide if I’m going Gas Tourer or 19t on the Saturday.
Hey Adrian if you want a car I’ve got the Serpent you can run – it was good enough for third in stock with me driving it at the first round. You’d need a speedie and motor etc.

Ill be there running gas on Sat and Stock on Sunday. Ill call the beerwah lodge and make a booking.

I’m there of course, Super stock on Sat, and I might see how the MI3 goes in Mod on Sunday (home track and all, I know I can get a modified powered car around there…) unless my new motor comes in by then but I’ll play it by ear for now…

Probably won’t make it to the interclub.

Tell me what servo gears you are looking for and I might be able to help – could probably lend you a servo for a while if you need.

13.5 until im told not to lol, seems to be pretty reliable at the rollout I’m runnin. Keen to get 17.5 as I have so many 540 gear combos to use lol You guys are hard to catch thats for sure.
Better call the Beerwah motel before its too late.

Ran the LRP 17.5 today at the Sunny coast, and on the large track there is not much difference between the bonded 13.5 novaks and the 17.5, Keith win the day using a bonded 13.5, followed by Shevo using a 17.5 (LRP) . First impressions are that the 17.5’s are more punchier out of the corners but on the straights the 13.5’s had the speed, I was running a 37/70 combo with my MI3 and it looked and felt quick but still down on top end (which plays a fair part on the wide open expances of the Coast track, but a couple of driver errors left me mid field. I think for interclub you’ll need to be lapping in the low 23’s high 22’s to make the A main, this current stock field is so strong right now can’t wait..
Oh and for super stock look for somewhere around the 46-47mm roll out for a LRP Sintered 13.5..

fair enough – I don’t think there is much difference between the Novak 17.5 and the LRP 17.5 and agree they are all very close to the same as a Bonded 13.5 but oh so much more user friendly, run cooler and should last a lot longer. I was racing Martin today and he was using teh 13.5 and I was on the 17.5. In the final he beat me by 2 secs but that was down to driving really the speed and acceleration were very much the same.
I have a LRP 13.5 sintered for the Saturday also a Novak 13.5 sintered and a Speed Passion 13.5 so I will have to work out on Friday what I am going to use. Wish we could use sintered 10.5.
I agree the stock racing on the Sunday will be awesome.

Heavy that depends on how fast you are next saturday… I was running 30/70 combo and coming off cold, Shevo also ran that combo I think and was in to the 21 sec bracket

Fair enough – I’ll bow to your superior knowledge – I agree the stock racing on Sunday will be awesome but I think the 19t will be very competitive also – just not as many people.

Ratio 38/70 is the sort of ratio i was planning for at sunnycoast, not at bayside. Impressive, sounds like the spectrum of ratio maybe broader than first thought. Was it a novak or LRP heavy?

That was a Novak. I’ll try to get some 39 and 40 pinions before the Sunny Coast just in case. Got some bodies in yesterday if you were preparing to paint a new one before I see you next give me a call.

Superior Knowledge, pfft, I just geared it till smoke came out and stepped back one pinion. I try to beat Shev any way possible and if that means smoke so be it ..lol
