I’ve taken some time out over the last few days to reconsider my involvement in RC following the situation over this year and in particular the last few weeks. Basically I have been heavily involved in admin of the electric side of this hobby in Qld since 1986 and it’s time I took a break and it’s time for new blood, new ideas, new people, to put in and move things forward. I’ve got no doubt my going won’t cause a ripple, some will even be glad to hear it.
The decision has been taken and the result is that I have placed a few life bans on myself.
Banned from any more involvement in Interclub committee – this year and future years.
Banned from any more involvement on ORRCA.
Banned from any other RC hobby wide committees.
Banned from RC Tech Australian threads.
Not banned from racing, and enjoying racing, and in particular from helping where I can at Bayside Onroad and Chargers Offroad meets and working bees etc.
Hope to see some of you at the track, actually I’ll race you there.
