Stories from the world of RC car racing

Well Scott and the family have just left my house, after an emotional farewell, on their road trip (mini holiday ) to their new life in Launceston, Tasmania.
A fair inventory of RC gear went with him as well.
Baja 5B SS – complete with awesome worked engine and exhaust by TRACKSIDE.
Schumacher RIOT – a fantastic .18 nitro fun truck
Xray 08 – in case there is some serious racing in Vic
HPI E Firestorm – for some elctric off road action
Various LIPO, CORE charger, Radio, ESC brushless motors etc etc
TASMANIA MIGHT NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN  !!!
The real question yet to be answered is – Will RC in Brisbane ever be the same again and especially for the Heavy man ?

See you Scott, I never met you formerly, but I know without you QLD RC wouldnt be what it is today. I may meet you some day in Tassie if I get a leave pass to race down there.

Fantastic – at least I’ll have plenty of good company.
Team FAD are about to rewrite the record books at tracks all over SEQ.
Imagine the pace at the next Interclub – roll on 17th May.

Scott has officially arrived in Tassie after a bit of a driving holiday. Furniture arrived on Thursday so I’m guessing the computer will be put back together in a few days and Scott will be back online.
