Also worth noting is the difference in times comparing the invite class and the open mod class. All of the invite guys are using 5 cells and most of the open mod guys are using 6 cells. Also the open mod guys are throwing winds, thermalling esc, and desoldering and that is in a temperate climate!!! Not even really that hot!!
Just thought I’d share that piece of gossip.

After Round 7 it looks like Marc Rheinard has wrapped up the 2007 Reedy Invitational. Top 10 with 2 drops after 7 rounds:
    7: Rheinard
    10: Wilck
    11: Drescher
12: Levanen, Volker, Surikarn, Honigl, Moore
    13: Leino, Hara
    14: Blackstock
Lots of interesting things including the new TC5 being on podium, first American in 11th, the return of Surikarn as a force, the first big win for Rheinard for a while, the continued rise of Victor Wilck and so on.
Mi3 without a world class driver didn’t fare well in invitational, but did place in A final in both 19T and Modified.
The Corally Phi was fast and competitive
