I’ve got a much better photo if I can ever figure out how to publish pic’s to this web site.
Where is Scott when you need him anyway – that pesky day job again !

    Hi Guy’s,
Just wondering if you will be posting a race review and summary. Always enjoy reading them to see who did what to end up where and get the buzz on who performed and who struggled.

    Hi Aaron,
I can honestly say that I personally struggled all weekend!!! 😉 New Car + New Track = a disaster!!! Having said though, I am glad I ended building and running the new car, I did learn a lot and also how to wrench very fast!
As far as a race report, I am sure there will be one posted shortly either by Peter “gramps” Dooley, Anthony “The Flea” Atack or myself. Just give us a day or two to recuperate.

    G’Day Leonard,
Mate after reading your post regarding the TC5 I wouldn’t be too dissapointed. It seems you did exceptionally well considering the fact the chassis is aimed squarely at the carpet market and foam tyres. I think from what you wrote that once you get the ITF chassis and spool, you’ll be easily on the pace, I say well done for a pretty damned good effort.
    Cheers

    Hi Aaron,
    Thanks for the props mate.
I am not dissappointed with the TC5, I was just not prepared for the car to be so far off the pace……..as AE usually and have done so in the past, provided very good ‘base’ setups out of the box.
It was a challenging weekend for me. Hopefully, I will fair much better when I go back for the NSW titles. (more knowledge on the TC5 – setups and how the car responds to changes).

Keen eyes will note that the paint is similar to the scheme used by Kyosho factory driver Shinnosuke Adachi. It’s one of my favourite paint jobs from the wider world of r/c racing – so I asked a friend to do a body for the mi3 for me based on this scheme. I like it!

Now for the bad news – Scott, the body doesn’t look as good as that any more – I got well and truley bashed up in the 3rd final at Tamworth – just another reason why you should have been there driving it yourself.
