Schumacher’s latest touring car – the Mi3 – is now out and about with first production kids on track in the UK and USA. First shipment of cars into Australia is expected in the next week or two. We of course are no longer selling, but we’re no less interested in the Mi3. It looks fantastic, and first reports are pretty positive. We can’t wait to see one in the flesh.
As an aside – Schumacher USA are publishing a “build guide” that goes into a lot of detail about how to build the Mi3 to the same standards as their team drivers. Whether you are building an Mi3, or any other kit – this is a story worth following. Follow the build guide here.
In other news, Team Associated’s forthcoming TC5 had a big international win on the weekend at the LRP Touring Car Masters. Run indoors on carpet, the race featured many of the world’s biggest names and ran to 5-cell modified rules (1350 weight). Associated put 3 or 4 cars into the A final including winner Juho Levanan. I can just hear Leonard popping up any minute to recommend the TC5! With the latest Corally Phi, Losi JRXS-R, Team Associated TC5, and of course the Mi3, taking on recent releases like the Cyclone Moorespeed and X-Ray T2-007, it’s exciting times for TC racers.
