So what’s happened to Bayside’s popularity. I thought the year had started with a bang with a great crowd at Meakin last Saturday night and another great crowd at Brendale on Friday night but it all fell in a hole at Bayside today. A total of 4 electric and 10 Nitro was all there was. Something to get the new committee scratching their heads about.
I had some good races in Stock electric with Shayne Pearce. The EC has got a bad case of the “turn hard rights” – Scott couldn’t isolate it on Friday night and I tried lots of things today looking for the tweak but it’s elusive that’s for sure – looks like a total strip down and examination is called for – probably be something simple like a bent hinge pin or the like. Still managed to win all the races so came home a happy chappy.
Hot day though – night racing would be good.
