It’s a bit weekend with action in three states, and locally at 3 or 4 tracks.
Locally the highlight will be the Queensland Indoor Championships – the first running of this event in recent years, and for the first time taking place on bitumen at Hobbystation. Practice is Saturday, with racing Sunday. Stay tuned for more news on this one. Even if you’re not racing, get there for some spectacular finals action Sunday afternoon.
Other SEQ racing takes place at Logan (Saturday night), Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast (both Sunday).
Interstate Anthony Atack is in action at the South-Australian Titles. Should be some tight racing there on what looks like being the host track for the 2007 Nats. We’ll bring you updates from SA as we get them (or Leonard can post!).
Sydney racers are gathering at the new Whalen circuit for it’s first major event – the Sydney GP for electric tourers and 1/12. Over 20 1/12 entries will battle it out as the class continues to be popular in Sydney. Again, we’ll bring news as we hear it.
