This week is Hobby Station Wednesday night onroad racemeet.
We expect a strong showing of 1/12th and touring cars in stock and 540 for sure, not too sure about Mini and Mod tourers.
Turn up for a great night of racing and socializing.

Some fine quotes:
“Hmmmm……..do I smell smoke?”
“Oh no!!! I left the lipo on too long on charge and its on FIRE!!! right next to my motor spray, can of shellite and bottle of noobie essence!!!”

I think he might be the Stig. Have you ever noticed how he hides his real identity by always using a substitute marshall !

By the way that was the third meeting for the brushless 13.5 motor. I am getting more convinced that Novak have done their homework right on this one – it really is very like a normal stock motor in every aspect of performance on teh tracks I’ve tried it on. Adrian though it might have lacked just a tad of top end over a really good stock motor – it may just be that we are running it in a Mission 1 which is a 6 year old design against the latest machinery.
On that subject I’m stoked at how competitive the old original Mission still is – going great.

Heavy…the original Mission rocks. I was very suprised it was still competitive.
On the 13.5…First off thanks for the drive…Its going to make racing stock even closer if we get enough on the track. Hopefully enough tracks allow it to be run with the brushed stocks. Even though it lacked a little in top speed to the regular brushed versions it certainly made up for it out of the turns. This could end up being a good thing…just have to wait and see if it will be welcomed into our racing.

Hey Heavy,
Yes, the flea does almost always have a substitute marshall. I have no idea why Rob keeps doing it for him……….considering everytime he marshalls someone the flea is making snide remarks from the peanut gallery!!!
Quotes from the flea:
“how’s that dancing style?”
“he looks like a fairy!”
“I would never marshall like that”
And Scotty,
The flea has lots of deep, dark speed secrets…………ready to unleash like the true flea he is.
Quote from Wikipedia:
“In most cases, fleas are just a nuisance to their hosts”
Rob, does this sound familiar???

where do i start with my defence?!
its true… i nearly did burn the house down.
i use li-po in my transmitter so i can drive faster!
yes i have joined the dark side… does that make me darth flea?
and i would never speak ill of the best marshall going – with the exception maybe of schwartzy when he put his body on the line and did a big super man dive over the field to marshall a fellow FIR team mate at the ipswich nationals.
