Stories from the world of RC car racing

Last night we had a good field in 540 and stock tourers and 8 1/12ths for a great night of racing. I had a great night of racing and socializing – should be more of it.
At present I am racing the original Mission – thats not the EC – not even the Mi2 but the original Mission, quite a few years old but still good and quite competitive. In addition the interest was in how the Novak 13.5 stock brushless would perform in stock. Well it performed brilliantly – exactly like a stock motor, goes the same, stops the same, doesn’t sound the same or look the same but I am certainly encouraged to continue the testing at Bayside on Sunday.
With 20 competitors we are getting close to our 25 goal for a Wednesday night, so mark it in your diary for Wednesday fortnight – 20th Sept.

It took you this long to work it out? Bring an extra suitcase in November, and stay forever. One more Victorian in Brisbane won’t make too much difference to our population growth!

i just placed my order for a new yokomo 12th scale about an hour ago 🙂
the amount of top notch competition down in melbourne is growing by the week… almost enough to make me not want to move north 🙂
there’s a few quick gas guys who’ve moved to electric lately, and are totally ballistic, as well as a few of the younger guys who’ve just gotten incredibly quick in the last few months…. I’ve got my work cut out for me making the A mains nowadays! 🙂
