The Action RC team will be playing with an Offroad car over the next few months – nothing new about that of course – we raced offroad for the first 14 years of our time in this hobby – the difference is the size and the motive power. The MATRIX PRO is a 1/8th scale buggy – very big, very scary, and very different. Ours is powered by an ORION WASP and we have the Team Orion Marathon 1400mah battery to power the servos, receiver etc. And of course we’ll be using BOOST 25% nitro fuel.
There is obviously a lot of learning to do.

The Matrix and other CEN models are available in Australia from your local hobby shop and are a very reasonably priced alternative and are a durable and competitive model. Plenty of spare parts and hop ups are also available should you happen to need them.

Fired up the Matrix at home today – wow what an angry sounding machine. Now I know why they call teh Orion motor “Wasp” very crisp and angry. Scary stuff really but great to have a car again that you can drive over the gutters without a worry. Really looking forward to getting it onto teh track now.
