Stories from the world of RC car racing

They truly are nuts.
And it begs the question – what would you drive into a swimming pool. And what is your favourite ’70’s supercar. But that’s not the question of the night for me….

For me there is only one question tonight – and it’s dedicated to the Porsche Cayman – the car so ugly it was banned from the Top Gear flat panel display:
Name the car so ugly it should be banned from Australian roads.  Go on, name it…
Last week’s popular winner (the Lada Niva) is definitely in with a show and anything by ssangyong comes close, but personally I can’t go past the Leyland P76.  What a horror.
(which reminds me about a bloke we knew in Townsville who shoe-horned a Leyland V8 engine into a Datsun Stanza – but that’s a story dad can tell another week)….
Go on, name it.

i think as far as the ugly car market goes ssangyong have the monopoly with several truely tragic models.
70’s super cars.. ferarri ofcoarse but which one? 365 bb / 512 bb perhaps… the start of the mid engine rwd’s for ferrari that most super cars employ to this day.
here’s my question for you all… (without using a search engine, etc) who do you think is the stig?

I must admit I always assumed “the Stig” was Stig Blomqvist – rally legend of a bygone era.
And I “wish” it was me….
