Ill be at Logan wed night, I think it will be my only chance to race for the next couple of months 😆
Stock Anyone or 10.5 whatever the flavour of the month is??? Maybe 540…… Just hope this rain stays away.

I’ll be on the Gold Coast between Sat 3 July – Sun 9 July. Is there likely to be any EP touring car club meets on during that time? Thanks 🙂

    Hi David.
Click on Calendar on the front page and then click across to July.
Logan will be racing on the Saturday night 3rd – about a 45 minute drive from the Gold Coast and the current hot bed of EP tourer racing in SEQ.
You don’t need a table benchs are provided, bring a chair if you need a rest.
If you don’t have transport from teh coast lets us know before hand and we’ll see what can be arranged.
If you want to extend a couple of days then teh Interclub should be on the following weekend at Bayside.

There was certainly some good racing at Logan tonight in all classes.
    2 heats of 540
    2 heats of stock
    1 heat of mod
    1 heat of f1
Brad Palmer won the 540 from Heavy
Chris Sturdy won the stock from Bob
Simon Nicholson won the mod I think
Shane Hyde won the F1 I think
    All good

Well, no more LRP’s for me 👿 👿 . After receiving the Mk III back there was some hope, untill I bolted it into car. Disappointing. Will now be heading to Speedpassion and Hobbywing. I hope some people have had some luck with there Mk III speedies. ❓

They appear to be a mixed bag – some are ok and some are not – some work ok with certain motors and some don’t, might be worth trying a different motor if you have one just to see or change the timing on your motor just a tad sometimes get rid of that slow speed cogging. I can put the latest Hobby Wing settings on your HW if you like but don’t have a feel for the best settings for Sunny Coast yet but I might by Friday night.
Try to read up the HW sites on RCTech and see if you can get a starting point for teh different settings suggested for a 17.5 before you get up there next weekend. Also check the HW site for a good explanation of what the various settings do.

Thanks Heavy, I will spend a bit more time on the car today with timing changes and also try a diff motor. I have printed some info on the hobbywing and will dive a bit deeper into the reading today. If all fails I can always run the hobbywing in Mod………….. (No smug comments Lenny) 😆 😆 😆
