Friday evening – Brendale EP Novice and 10.5. GT and Novice gas
Saturday 15th.
F1 racing – practice from 12.30 racing from 2pm.
Normal all class racing from 6 combined with F1 finals.
Sunday 16th
EP racing at Gold Coast

Looking forward to Saturday for the 2nd round of the F1 series. Should be a good turn out. Lets hope we get 16+ entries.

Unfortunately the F1 was washed out tonight so no chance to practice for Saturday.
There is still time to enter for Saturday if you have an F1 give Martin a email or enter via the Meakin Park thread on rctech. Should be a good day.LikeLike

Managed to get to Logan this arvo and watch the first round of heats in the F1.
It is definitely great racing – Martin from Bob and Big Mac in the first round but there is more to come from teh others and Martin won’t have it all his own way by finals time tomight.LikeLike

What a great meeting at Meakin Park with the F1’s.
Qaulifying went like this…
TQ…Bob (AGR)
2nd…Martin (Corally)
3rd…Adrian (AGR)
4th…Big Mac (Corally)
5th…Brad H (Corally)
Then it was something like…Stuart, Brad etc.
Finals…A big win to Bob. The rest of the placings as per qualifying. Infact I thing the top 5 or 6 finals placings were as per qualifying.
Had some awsome racing with Big Mac in 2 of the finals. Cant wait until the next one. Day time meeting (better for my vision…glasses, I dont need glasses) at Logan for the F1’s on 3rd October.

The other racing was good as well. Stock was dominated again by “The ClintonatoR”, then Peter Beckett and Keith. Bob and the schui were out early in the race with technical difficulties, bad luck bob I’m sure you would have been top three for sure, too much time spent on the F1 maybe 😆
540 was very close with Gerard taking the TQ and win followed by vazzo who only just passed the very consistent Kahla who finished in third. I could not catch her for the life of me and some bad luck (car jumping out in front of her) late in the race allowed me to sneak past. A very fun night.

Well what a hoot. The racing yesterday at the F1 event was so exciting to watch. Bob “The Old man” Barger took out the event but very close, about half a second all race until the last lap then blew out too 2 seconds was Martin ( 4th Final action).
Many smiles through out the afternoon.

The biggest set-up tip with mod is having a good rear diff. without that your always going to struggle for rear end grip
