YouTube – Heavy Does Nitro.
Today Heavy D made his nitro off-road debut in the Truggy class at the brand new Latrobe Raceway – home of Tassie’s North-West R/C Car Club. Heavy qualified a stellar 2nd place, and came home 5th after a fine drive in the finals. Once he even got airborne!
Here’s a video from a qualifying heat showing Heavy at his nitro offroad finest.

Actually on reflection I really enjoyed that day a lot – thanks heaps Scott for making it happen.
I did get more confident on the jumps later as well but never mastered the big one over the back but did clear it twice.

yeah that back jump can be tricky. if you get a bad run out of the corner you are unlikley to clear it.
once i got it sused i ended up clearing 8 times out of 10.LikeLike
