Stories from the world of RC car racing

Well last night I had my first opportunity to have a run on the new surface and through the first layout, and I have to say I am impressed.
Traction is fantastic.
I ran 2 tanks through the Gas car – first tank feeling my way around, there are lots of corners and curves which will reward careful driving – very easy to go too fast in a few spots.
Then I had the chance to do a few laps in Dings F1. I used to love F1 racing in the old days and I reckon that will be a success again on a Wednesday night and with teh odd Grand Prix thrown in – the surface is so smooth.
So far I haven’t had a chance to run a EP TC around there but I think in 17.5 we might see the return of the Oneway.
Unfortunately I won’t make the Easter meet and then I’m off to Tassie for a couple of weeks but certainly looking forward to some great racing at Logan now that’s for sure.

    Hey Scott
You can run my Mi3.5 at the states if you want, I am going to look after Chris in 540 and not race myself.
    Regards

I enjoyed myself at the Easter Cup, but I do think us “GAS drivers” need to sit down to discuss which track to run there as the one we had at the Easter Cup was way to technical. It’s needs to be opened up a little so we can actually hit 2nd gear 😆 Great meet either way, just my 2 cents for what its worth.
