Stories from the world of RC car racing

I’ve got a couple of the newly released Speed Passion Exige v2.0 speed control. These will sell for $160 and will be perfect for Onroad Stock or Super Stock or Offroad spec classes.(7.5turn motor limit ).
Also for setting up that second Onroad car or a buggy, you can get a speedy and motor for what used to be the price of a reasonable brushless speedie. Will run sensored or sensorless motors and comes with the set up card etc. Have a look here
Also got a few of the new Protoform 190mm LTC-R bodyshells coming as well.
We will be running the CEN CT5 pull start RTR (and I’ve got a pull start TG for it for those events where that is a requirement) and supporting it with a few necessary parts. If you want a reasonable Gas Tourer for around the $415 mark let me know – if I can find time to get mine ready I’ll run it at the Presidents Shield see how it goes. Gary’s already been in training as a pit crew – good on ya Gazza.

You can use these speedies in the spec classes at most club events around Brisbane – and at the Interclub events.
The brains trust at ORRCA seem to think they have a rule to prevent them being used at ORRCA events but they must be reading from a different rule book to me – maybe too busy selling out our birthright to AARCMCC.
Go the Interclub committee – great work as usual.
