As a long time Subaru WRC fan, it is sad news today that Subaru have withdrawn from the world rally championship effective immediately. They join Suzuki in having pulled out for 2009, and leave just Ford and Citroen as the major contenders. Bad news indeed for Subaru fans specifically, and WRC followers in general.
