There’s plenty of Action this week to look forward to. We aren’t exactly winding down for the offseason yet are we ?
Tuesday 18th – practice night at Logan – get that last minute Gas Tourer Champs and Mini Cup practice.
Friday 21st – noon to 5pm open practice at Logan
Friday 21st – Brendale for some Gas Tourer or pull start action or maybe some electric action.
Saturday 22nd – from 7.30am Gas Tourer qualifying and Mini quals and finals at Logan
Sunday 23rd – from 8.00am Gas Tourer finals and Stock EP quals and finals.
If that’s not enough well so sad too bad – it looks like enough to me.
I’ll probably make it to Tuesday and Saturday – thinking about Friday – we’ll see.

➡ Mini Cup
Th threatened rain stayed away and the only weather problem was wind – it blew a gale and made conditions less than pleasant.
The racing was good although small numbers – 12 I think it was. In teh end they put all 12 in the final.
Winners on the day were all regular Mini runners at Logan proving that experience counts for something.
Ashley Cobb from Scott Harris and Rob Jones.
My day consisted of a tyre coming unglued in the first final and a tyre coming off in the second final and I had to leave before the third final – oh well better preparation next time.
➡ Gas Tourer Qld Titles.
This event continues today but from qualifying yesterday it looked like John Taynton or Hesham or Tim Weir might be the ones to beat. Again there were only small numbers of entries – the powers that be might need to do some head scratching on why that was the case.
