The 2006 IC 20mm worlds are all over.
In a final numerically dominated by Kyosho (6) to the 3 Mugen and 1 Magic, Tossalini led the 1 hour race most of the way till a car breakage within 2 minutes of the chequered flag handed the win to Keisuke Fukuda (Mugen) who had dogged him all the way and had sometimes led for brief intervals around pit stops etc.
Solidly in 2nd place was Takaaki Shimo (Kyosho).
Australia’s first ever representative in a Open World RC Championship – Peter Jovanovic (Kyosho) came in third after a steady drive always in 3rd or 4th from near the start.
Action R/C offer our congratuations to the winners but especially to Peter for this achievement and also to Doug Barber and all the guys on his team out at Brendale who did such a fabulous job of putting all that together – a truly magnificent job.
