With Heavy now back in the workforce we have decided to refocus by divesting ourselves of some of the activities of Action R/C. This will allow us to maximise our available time in the pursuit of the hobby we all love, rather than trying to build a business.
We were set to make a sales push with the new Academy range of Onroad and Offroad cars to compliment our Schumacher range, however, this plan has now been shelved and we will once again focus all of our attention on Schumacher as our main car of choice for our team and also to supply to others around us.

We will continue to support Schumacher drivers with an unequalled (in Brisbane) supply of spares available trackside at many club and all major meets around our area. We will be running a Corally in 1/12th so expect a few Corally SP12M parts to appear in the box from time to time.
As an aside let us just say that the Academy car that Heavy has been driving for the last month or so has really been a very good thing and we are sorry that those plans have been shelved. We can find very little wrong with the marque and would recommend it to anyone as a great budget alternative.
We will continue to carry in stock a small range of equipment and only that which our team uses – batteries – motors – tyres etc and very little else. We can still source product other than this if you wish and in most cases with only a few days notice. Novak electronics and brushless systems, Much More electrical gear and so on.
You should keep a close eye on our Specials page to see what our team uses and what products you may order through us. There may also be some specials and secondhand stuff from time to time. Keep watching!
Batteries:

We will continue to supply the Feral East Power 4200 packs for those who want a cheaper alternative. For those wanting the very best we will supply the IB 4200 SHV from local Queensland matcher Scott Harris (Harris RC), or from Feral if you prefer. In both cases we can supply 6 or 4 cell matched packs for the best prices.
Motors:

We have decided to break with Surge, even though those motors have been good for us, and will support Queensland’s own Scott Harris and sell the EA Motorsports Stock and 19T motors. We also supply the Novak brushless systems and Heavy will be trailing one of the new “stock” brushless 13.5 turn motors shortly.
Tyres:
No change here. We still use and recommend SOREX tyres and inserts and will continue to supply them mounted on Schumacher rims or loose, unmounted as is the case now. We will also carry a limited range of the 1/12th tyres, certainly Corally and probably some Jaco as well.
In addition we will continue our activities to assist meaningful racing happen at Hobby Station, we are committed to keeping this as a viable racing facility for Brisbane – it’s too valuable to lose.
Apart from that – Let’s race – we still love it!
